Jersey Girl Logistics was founded by JoAnne Bricker (JB), a seasoned pro with more than 22 years in bulk liquid hazmat transport. She’s worked everywhere from family-owned outfits to national carriers, and even built a bulk liquid division from the ground up for a major New Jersey-based company. After decades of experience, JoAnne knew it was time to bring her own vision to life, one built around respect for drivers and real partnerships with shippers.
Jersey Girl Logistics was born with a simple but powerful philosophy: drivers first, always. Because when drivers are set up for success, shippers get the reliable, professional service they need, and everyone wins.
As a woman-owned freight brokerage, we do things differently. We balance loyalty between our clients and our carriers, creating solutions that work on both sides of the table. JoAnne Bricker believes that anything is possible in transportation when you value the people who make it all happen, the drivers. With more than 22 years of hands-on experience in liquid bulk hazmat transport, JoAnne carved out a unique niche by pioneering the role of a backhaul dispatcher at one of the nation’s largest bulk liquid carriers. She mastered the art of acquiring loads, became an expert in log management, and proudly served as a “human map of the United States”, all while keeping safety and compliance at the forefront.
Her industry credentials set her apart: JoAnne is SCPro™ certified through CSCMP and a Certified Transportation Broker (CTB) through TIA, designations that set her apart in the broker field. Combined with her deep operational background, these certifications reinforce her ability to deliver at the highest level.
Driven by proactive problem-solving, strong communication, and a relentless pursuit of excellence, JoAnne became the go-to leader who minimized after-hours disruptions by staying ahead of potential issues. As a single mother of four, her determination was unmatched, and her diligence paid off as she earned top-performer recognition for hauled revenue miles year after year.
Her biggest professional challenge, and triumph, came when she stepped into an executive leadership role to build a bulk liquid division from the ground up. It was demanding, but it cemented her passion for working with professional, turnkey drivers and showed her that she was ready to take her own leap.
JoAnne founded Jersey Girl Logistics with a clear vision: to create a hazmat freight brokerage where drivers come first. She knows that when drivers are prioritized, customers naturally get the high-level service they deserve.
